RCCC First Board Meeting – Minutes (2026–27)

The first Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Chennai Celebrities for the Rotary Year 2026–27 was held on 8 July 2026 at the office of Rtn. John Vincent. The meeting commenced sharp at 7:00 PM with the President's welcome address, demonstrating the Club's commitment to punctuality. Out of 19 Board Members, 15 attended. The President explained the Membership App and its benefits. Board Members committed 22 prospective members, with a target of inducting at least 15 members during the Installation, and all subscriptions to be completed by 20 July 2026. Rtn. VJD agreed to follow up with discontinued members. Rtn. Sangeetha assured the induction target despite her health challenges, for which the Board appreciated her dedication. Rtn. Raja Gokhale was appointed Installation Chairman. Rtn. Prakash sponsored the Club's ISO 9000 Certification. The Board approved the "Mind Calm" project as the Club's Signature Project, finalized the Installation Committee, uniform plans, and upcoming projects.

Three Clubs Unite for Rotary Board Learning Semina

The Joint Club Board Learning Seminar 2026–27 was successfully organized by the Rotary Clubs of Agaram, Aura, and Chennai Celebrities on 3rd July 2026 at Hotel Mathsya, T. Nagar. The seminar brought together Presidents, Secretaries, and Board Members of the three clubs to strengthen leadership, enhance Rotary knowledge, and promote collaboration for the upcoming Rotary year. The program featured insightful sessions by District Membership Chairman Rtn. Joseph Raja and Assistant Governor Rtn. Arul Malar. Rtn. Joseph Raja emphasized that impactful Rotary service is driven by commitment and vision rather than financial resources, inspiring members through his personal Rotary journey and practical strategies to build vibrant and sustainable clubs. Rtn. Arul Malar provided detailed guidance on the roles and responsibilities of board members, Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus, conflict management, communication protocols, youth service opportunities, community health projects.
