As part of Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of Chennai Celebrities successfully launched its third service project of the Rotary year 2026–27 by organizing the "Miracle of Motherhood – Safe Motherhood Awareness Programme." The project was led by Rtn. Raja Gokhale, Director – Community Service (Health), under the leadership of President Rtn.Peter Jerome. The initiative was ably supported by Rtn. Mekala Sivamohan (RAOF Chair) and Club Secretary Rtn. Kaja Mohideen, whose coordination and support contributed significantly to the successful execution of the programme. The awareness session was delivered by Rtn. Dr. Sujatha Gajendran, District Chair – Women and Child Wellness, who shared valuable insights on antenatal care, maternal nutrition, safe pregnancy practices, danger signs during pregnancy, institutional delivery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
